Als Fotograf unterstütze ich Sie gezielt mit der Produktion von ästhetisch anspruchsvollem und gleichzeitig barrierefreiem Bildmaterial und optimiere auf Wunsch Ihren vorhandenen Foto-Content, abgestimmt auf Ihre Bedürfnisse.
In meiner fotografischen Arbeit lege ich den Schwerpunkt auf eine gute visuelle und kognitive Erkennbarkeit von Bildinhalten, so dass alle Menschen, unabhängig von ihren Fähigkeiten, die Botschaft eines Bildes wahrnehmen können. Das schließt aussagekräftige Bildbeschreibungen für Lesegeräte und Sprachausgaben für blinde und stark sehbehinderte Menschen mit ein.
Gut wahrnehmbarer Foto-Content zeichnet sich aus durch eine übersichtliche Bildaufteilung mit nicht zu vielen oder zu feinen Details, durch eine klare Unterscheidung von Vorder- und Hintergrund sowie durch angepasste Kontrast-, Helligkeits- und Farbwerte. Alle diese Punkte berücksichtige ich von der Foto-Produktion bis zur Nachbearbeitung.
Zu meinem Angebot gehört auch, dass ich Sie bei der Einbindung und Weiterverarbeitung von Bildmaterial innerhalb Ihres Online- oder Print-Workflows unterstütze. Hierbei stimme ich mich mit Redaktion, Grafik-Design und/oder Lithografie ab im Hinblick z.B. auf benötigte Formate oder spezifische Nachbearbeitungen. Auf Wunsch vermittele ich auch gern mit dem Thema Barrierefreiheit vertraute Netzwerk-PartnerInnen, mit denen ich bereits erfolgreich zusammengearbeitet habe.

In my photographic work, I focus on ensuring good visual and cognitive recognition of image content so that everyone, regardless of their abilities, can perceive the message conveyed by an image. This includes providing descriptive image captions for screen readers and voice outputs for blind and visually impaired individuals.
Well-perceived photo content is characterized by a clear visual layout with an appropriate balance of details, a distinct differentiation between foreground and background, and adjusted contrast, brightness, and color values. I take all of these aspects into account from the production of the photograph to the post-processing stage.
Additionally, my services include assisting you in integrating and processing image materials within your online or print workflows. I collaborate with editors, graphic designers, and/or lithographers to ensure the necessary formats and specific post-processing requirements are met. If desired, I can also connect you with network partners who are familiar with accessibility, with whom I have successfully collaborated in the past.
